What JVR Enterprise is all about.

How It’s Processed

Here is a video about the process lumber goes through to be kiln dried and ready for your needs.

My name is Jody Ransdell, a Hardwood Lumber Sales Specialist with over 30 years of industry experience. Quality, service, and integrity are not only the cornerstones of JVR Enterprise and Empire Forest Products but also the principles I try to live by.

Growing up in a military family, I learned to adapt to new environments through frequent relocations while balancing the challenges of growing up. After completing high school in Fort Knox, Kentucky, I pursued my passion for Marketing and Communication, with a minor in Fine Arts, at the University of Louisville. My appreciation for architecture and the aesthetic value of hardwoods drew me to the lumber industry, where I have found endless opportunities for growth and creativity.

When I am not selling hardwood lumber, I enjoy a variety of activities, including hiking in Louisville's many local parks, painting vibrant landscapes from photos I have taken, and glassblowing at the University of Louisville. These hobbies provide a great work-life balance and inspire my creative processes.

I am committed to continuous learning and improvement, striving to deliver top-notch services that meet my customers expectations. Thank you for exploring my portfolio and please get in touch if you would like to collaborate.
